Singapore’s Temasek Holdings is a state-owned investment company designed to help the country use investment returns to support social programs.
Its net portfolio as of 2025 was 434 billion Singaporean Dollars in industries like tech, finance and healthcare.
It pays its dividends to the Singaporean government to help fund public services and community initiatives.
A significant part of these public dividends come from Temasek’s land and property holdings.
A Citizen’s Dividend would be managed in the same way Temasek is managed.
An independent Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) would be responsible for collecting and redistributing economic rent much in the same way Temasek operates independently to benefit Singapore’s public.
